April 2022

 

On 4/2/22 at 11:14 PM, Rodney Cross (age 42) of Newark, NJ was arrested for DWI after a motor vehicle stop on US Highway 22 west. Cross was issued the following summonses: DWI, Failure to Maintain Lane, Suspended Driver’s License, and Refusal to Submit to a Breath Sample. He was released with a pending court appearance.

March 2022

 

On 3/2/22 at approximately 6:13 AM, an unknown actor stole a motor vehicle from a parking lot in front of a residence on Dartmouth Avenue. The victim had left his vehicle unlocked but was still in possession of the ignition key.


On 3/6/22, a resident of Woodside Lane reported their vehicle had been burglarized. The victim advised that their vehicle had been parked in their driveway and was unlocked. The actor entered the vehicle and removed a Samsung Cellular and a JBL Bluetooth speaker.


On 3/6/22 at approximately 4:36 PM, Jerome Trent (age 27) of Rahway, NJ was arrested for Shoplifting at the Home Depot, located at 736 US Hwy 202. Trent stole store merchandise valued at $1,615. A complaint summonses was completed and Trent was released with a pending court appearance.


On 03/08/22 at approximately 10:12 AM, a resident of French Drive reported the theft of the catalytic converter from their vehicle. The vehicle was parked in the parking lot in front of the victim’s residence.


On 03/14/22 at approximately 4:20 PM, an employee of Bill Vince’s Acura reported the theft of a catalytic converter from a vehicle located in their parking lot.


On 3/19/22 at 2:01 AM, Jordan Lafever (age 22) of Flemington, NJ was arrested for DWI after being involved in a single motor vehicle crash on Foothill Road. Lafever was issued the following summonses: DWI and Careless Driving. He was released with a pending court appearance.


On 3/20/22, a resident of Leghorn Avenue reported their vehicle had been burglarized. The victim advised that their vehicle had been parked in their driveway and was unlocked. The actor entered the vehicle and removed a purse and Apple Air Pods.


On 3/24/22 at approximately 1:21 AM, an unknown actor stole a motor vehicle from the parking lot of Wawa, located at 580 Union Avenue. The victim had left his vehicle parked in the parking lot unlocked, running and with the keys in the vehicle.


On 3/29/22 at approximately 4:51 PM, William Nieto-Lozano (age 26) of Flushing, NY was arrested for Shoplifting at Target, located at 200 Promenade Boulevard. Nieto-Lozano stole store merchandise valued at $489.97. A complaint summonses was completed and Nieto-Lozano was released with a pending court appearance.


On 3/31/22 at approximately 11:29 AM, Regina Rosado (age 49) of Newark, NJ was arrested for Shoplifting at Ulta Beauty, located at 352 Chimney Rock Road. Rosado stole store merchandise valued at $565. A complaint summonses was completed and Rosado was released with a pending court appearance.

February 2022

On 2/2/22 at 7:47 PM, a resident of Raritan Borough, NJ reported that an unknown actor(s) burglarized their unlocked vehicle while it was parked at the Gold’s Gym located at 462 State Highway 28.  The unknown actor(s) removed the victim’s wallet from the vehicle.

On 2/06/22, an unknown actor stole a motor vehicle from the driveway of a residence on Adamsville Road. The victim had left his vehicle unlocked but was still in possession of the ignition key.

On 02/04/22 at approximately 2:00 AM, Juan Camilo Saavedre-Mora (age 20) of Springfield, NJ was involved in a motor vehicle crash on Chimney Rock Road.  During the investigation Saavedre-Mora was discovered to be under the influence of alcohol.  He was arrested for DWI.  He was issued the following summonses: DWI, Careless Driving, Failure to Exhibit Proof of Insurance and Open Container of Alcohol in a Motor Vehicle.  He was released with a pending municipal court appearance.

On 2/08/22 at approximately 7:15 PM, an unknown actor stole a motor vehicle from the parking lot of Panchero’s, located at 715 Promenade Boulevard.  The victim had left his vehicle unlocked and running while he entered the store to retrieve his order. Later that evening, the stolen vehicle was recovered unoccupied in the parking lot of Wawa located at 580 Union Avenue.

On 2/9/22 at 6:39 AM, a resident of Roger Avenue reported a burglary to her unlocked vehicle.  The unknown actor(s) took the victim’s wallet from the vehicle.

On 2/13/22 at approximately 7:40 PM, Jesus Ferrer-Ventura (age 26) and Santiago Cammargo-Ventura (age 22) both of Elizabeth, NJ were arrested for shoplifting at Target, located at 200 Promenade Boulevard.  Ferrer-Ventura and Cammargo-Ventura placed $1,361.59 worth of various merchandised into a shopping cart and exited the store without paying.  Ferrer-Ventura then re-entered the store placed $387.05 worth of various merchandised into a shopping cart and exited the store without paying.  Complaint summonses were completed and both subjects were released with a pending court appearance.

On 2/18/22 at approximately 12:21 PM, Laura Addison (age 61) of Bridgewater, NJ was arrested for theft of cash from the Home Depot, located at 400 Promenade Boulevard.  Addison was an employee of Home Depot and over several days she removed $476.54 from the register.  Addison was issued a complaint summons and released with a pending court appearance.

On 2/18/22 at 8:29 PM, Melissa Stani (age 45) of Bridgewater, NJ was arrested for shoplifting at Target, located at 200 Promenade Boulevard.    Stani stole store merchandise valued at $837.70.  A complaint summonses was completed and Stani was released with a pending court appearance.

On 2/19/22 at approximately 6:25 PM, an unknown actor stole a motor vehicle from the parking lot of AA Yankis Tires and Auto Repair, located at 45 Finderne Avenue.  The victim had left his vehicle unlocked and running in the parking lot in order to warm the vehicle up.

On 02/19/22 at 6:49 PM, Rosie Canenguez (age 23) of Somerset, NJ was arrested for shoplifting at Target, located at 200 Promenade Boulevard.  Canenguez utilized a self-checkout register and under rang several items to deprive the store of $159.12.  A complaint summonses was completed and Canenguez was released with a pending court appearance.

On 2/22/22, a resident of Dilts Lane reported the theft of the catalytic converter form his vehicle.

On 2/23/22 at approximately 8:01 AM, a resident of Riddle Court reported the theft of the catalytic converter from their vehicle. The vehicle was parked in the parking lot directly in front of the victim’s residence.

0n 02/24/22 at approximately 4:30 AM, Michael Sasso (age 58) of Bridgewater, NJ was involved in a motor vehicle crash on Stapleton Court.  During the investigation Sasso was discovered to be under the influence of alcohol.  He was arrested for DWI.  He was issued the following summonses: DWI, Reckless Driving, Uninsured Motor Vehicle and Refusal to Provide a Breath Sample.  He was released with a pending municipal court appearance.

On 2/25/22 at 11:52 PM, Christopher Martinez (age 28) of North Plainfield, NJ was arrested for DWI after being involved in a single motor vehicle crash on US Highway 22 East. Martinez was issued the following summonses: DWI, Reckless Driving, Expired Driver’s License, Suspended Driver’s License, Driving on a Closed Roadway and Careless Driving. He was released with a pending court appearance.

0n 02/25/22 at approximately 7:55 PM, Richard Kraft (age 76) of Somerville, NJ was involved in a motor vehicle crash on East Main Street.  During the investigation Kraft was discovered to be under the influence of alcohol.  He was arrested for DWI.  He was issued the following summonses: DWI and Careless Driving.  He was released with a pending municipal court appearance

 

On 02/27/22, an unknown actor stole a motor vehicle from the driveway of a residence on Clark Court.  The victim had left the keys in the vehicle and the vehicle was left unlocked.

 

On 02/27/22 at approximately 9:48 AM, a resident of Woodside Lane reported their vehicle had been burglarized.  The victim advised that their vehicle had been parked in their driveway and was unlocked.  The actor entered the vehicle and removed an iPhone charging cable and a pair of sunglasses.
